Users will be able to add a music sticker with a simple click, giving each story its own musical backdrop. According to the official statement, several thousand songs across genres should be available. Users will be able to search for individual songs by authors, genres, popularity, etc. Users will have a tool at their disposal, thanks to which they will be able to choose the exact passage of the song that they want to use in Insta Stories, if they do not want to insert the song in its entirety.
It will also be possible to choose background music even before the user starts recording the video. Through the settings, he simply finds what he wants to have in the video, and after starting the recording, the selected song starts playing automatically. The official press release states that Instagram will be adding new and new songs every day. Gradually, everyone should be satisfied, regardless of their favorite or preferred genre. The feature is available now (from update #51). Instagram Stories is used by over 400 million users every day and is a very popular tool across the platform.
