At the turn of April and May, iKnow Club organizes a series of lectures and workshops in cooperation with the renowned trainer and publicist Petr Mára, dealing with the areas of new uses of information technology and modern management practices.

The first of a series of seminars will focus on the user transition from a regular PC to Mac computers. This lecture will take place next Wednesday (April 21) from 4:18 p.m. at CTU and will mainly be devoted to the limitations of "classic" computer programs and their eventual alternation in the form of modern information technology Mac platforms.

Another workshop is ready for you next Wednesday, April 28 from 19:30 in room RB101 and will be focused on one of the most current and popular methods of work organization called "Getting Things Done" (GTD).

GTD is not a classic time management method, it focuses primarily on the steps associated with the management of the work process. According to the latest studies, the human brain is not designed to remember and recall tasks, appointments and all commitments. However, trainer Petr Mára (www.petrmara.com) will present the listeners with a manual on how to learn these things, how to manage them and sort them according to priorities.

The last lecture, again directed by Petr Mára, will not be long in coming and its content will be appreciated not only by ordinary computer users, but especially by students of lower grades who intend to expand their horizons in the area of presentation skills and abilities. At the final seminar, which will take place on the second Wednesday of May, May 12 from 18:00 p.m., potential participants will get to know Apple's KEYNOTE presentation creation program for Mac platforms. At the same time, they will be able to get a lot of useful tips and recommendations on how to design the presentation as a whole, how to improve their presentation skills, or how to get rid of initial uncertainty and nervousness during public speaking.

iKnow Club dares to invite you to upcoming seminars, will look forward to your abundant participation and believes that the outputs of all upcoming workshops will benefit your daily student and personal life. Follow the website for more information iknow.eu.
