Some time ago we were you informed, that the Swedish furniture giant IKEA has started selling a Lightning cable with MFI certification. At that time, the novelty could only be purchased in Sweden. However, IKEA has now offered the cable in other markets as well, including the Czech one. The biggest advantage of the accessories is above all the price, which stopped at 199 crowns.

LILLHULT, as the Lightning cable from the IKEA workshop is called, is basically nothing unique at first glance. It is a 1,5 meter long cable, which is slightly more durable than the original from Apple, mainly thanks to the nylon with which the cable is braided. It does not mind being rolled up, bent or carried so often, which is also confirmed by the attached elastic band. Both connectors – Lightning and USB-A (2.0) – also have a higher quality impression.

The biggest advantage is the price of 199 crowns, which is really favorable for a cable with MFI (Made for iPhone) certification. Currently, this is probably the best price/performance ratio in the field of cables for Apple products. The relatively good availability is also positive, as LILLHULT can be purchased not only at all five domestic IKEA branches, but also in the online store.

Ikea has long since offered not only furniture and home accessories, but also a range of smart accessories with HomeKit support. Not long ago, it even presented smart blinds with the support of the Apple platform, which are now available in several European stores at a price of €119. From February 2, they should then start to be sold online, for example on the official website German e-shop, are not yet available in the Czech Republic.
