The original Lightning cables from Apple are not only of relatively poor quality, but their price is not particularly friendly either. So it's no wonder that users are looking for better and cheaper alternatives. The Swedish furniture giant Ikea is also offering one of these, which has started selling a Lightning cable for only 79 Swedish crowns, i.e. less than 200 CZK.

Despite the relatively low price, the cable is also MFI (Made for iPhone) certified. The durability is apparently at a good level, as the cable is braided with nylon and therefore does not mind frequent coiling, bending and carrying. Both connectors also feel more robust, and considering the length of 1,5 meters, the Ikea cable is probably the best buy in terms of price/performance ratio.

The only problem is availability at the moment. Ikea is a novelty Offers for now only in Sweden. However, this is not a non-standard procedure - the company often offers its goods first in its homeland and only then expands them to the American and European markets. Let's hope that it will not be different in the case of the new Lighting cable.

Ikea has long since offered not only furniture and home accessories, but also a range of smart accessories with HomeKit support. Not long ago, it even presented smart blinds with the support of the Apple platform, which are now available in several European stores at a price of €119. From February 2, they should then start to be sold online, for example on the official website German e-shop, are not yet available in the Czech Republic.
