I've been looking for a long time for an app for my iPhone that would allow me to edit Word documents. I discovered iDocs for Office Word & PDF documents. A great tool that meets all my requirements and then some. Find out what you can do with iDocs in this article.

You might be a little disappointed by the overall design when you first launch it, but after a while you'll get used to it and discover a lot of great features that you'll appreciate.

To create a new Word document, just click on New document and choose the format, either with the extension *.txt, *.doc or *.docx and you can start writing.

All the important tools you can think of are available - bold, strikethrough, underline and italics. There is also a superscript and a subscript, thanks to which you can use iDocs at school for writing equations and the like. There are also 25 different fonts and you can choose from 15 colors. Changing the size of the font itself is a matter of course. This application will not deprive you of the option to highlight the text with undercoloring, which you will appreciate on many occasions - at school, at a meeting, at work... You can also edit the text as a whole by changing its alignment (you have a choice like in classic Word - to the left , to the right, to the center and to the block). All of this would not be possible without the option of setting text offsets and changing line spacing.

If you think back on your edit you just made, there are back, forward and cut buttons.

However, even iDocs is not perfect, although it is close to it. I was quite disappointed when I didn't discover the option to create custom charts or graphs. But this can be bypassed. If you copy a table into your document from another, you can edit it afterwards.

You can even print your work directly through iDocs if you have a supported printer. The application also allows you to convert a document to PDF. What's great is that you don't need to have any additional applications, just open the Word file in iDocs and press a button, the whole conversion is practically instantaneous (depending on the size of the document).

Standard tools are available for PDF documents, such as underlining and highlighting text or adding a note to the text. In addition, you will also find a pen here, which is great for circling important things, for example. You will certainly also use the possibility of inserting images and various "stamps", while you can also create your own. iDocs is also great for signing electronic PDF documents, as you simply create and insert your signature.

The application is really comprehensive and the developers have apparently thought of a lot of things, because you can connect it to Dropbox and, in addition to documents, import music, photos, Excel documents (for viewing only) and much more into iDocs.

To confirm its versatility, the application also includes an Internet browser, so you can really do a lot with iDocs for Office Word & PDF documents.

When your work is done, you can pack it up. That is, to the .zip archive. Just select which files or folders you want and that's it. You can then, for example, send the entire archive by email directly from the application.

iDocs for Office Word & PDF document is undoubtedly an exceptional application not only for Word, but also for working with PDF, Excel and other documents. You will find only a minimum of flaws here.

The application is available in the App Store for both iPhone and iPad.
