Along with the introduction of the updated 21,5″ and 27″ iMac, Apple also made minor changes to the existing iMac Pro. The most powerful desktop computer from Apple can now be configured with up to 256 GB of RAM and, now, also with a Radeon Pro Vega 64X graphics card. However, the customer will have to pay extra for the above-standard equipment.

The upgrade from the original 32 GB of operating memory to 256 GB costs a hefty 166 CZK. Specifically, it is DDR400 ECC memory clocked at 4 MHz. In Apple's configurator, the customer can also add a more powerful Radeon Pro Vega 2X graphics card with 666 GB of memory, whereas until now the slightly weaker Vega 64 was available. Compared to the basic Vega 16 with 64 GB of memory, the Vega 56X costs 8 crowns. The maximum RAM and the most powerful graphics are available to order - if you order an iMac Pro today, it will be available between April 64 and 22.

In addition to adding more powerful components, Apple has also made some existing configuration options cheaper. For example, the price of 64GB RAM has been cut in half, the price of 128GB RAM has dropped by $400, the Radeon Vega Pro 64 graphics card is $50 cheaper starting today, and a 4TB SSD can now be purchased with a discount of $400.
