Let me share my experience with Apple products as hers he wrote some time ago my colleague Jan Otčenášek. I became a new editor on this server, I follow the happenings around the apple company and therefore in total (of course) I own its products.
Immediately after the introduction of the original iPhone, I was clear in my head - I want that phone! I was impressed by the large capacitive display, the flickering icons when editing the menu, the smooth rotation of the display, the speed of the phone and the system. Unfortunately, as a teenager at that time, my finances did not allow it, so I almost lost interest in Apple for a while. The turning point came about a year ago when I started following the "iPhone on the bar" case. It was clear to me that I would not have the money for an iPhone 4, so I reached for the older iPhone 3G – unfortunately with iOS 4.0. No, that's not really how I envisioned a snappy iPhone. My 3G only warmed up for maybe a month, and I bought a newer 3GS instead. The two-year-old phone runs decently even on the latest version of iOS (4.3.3 specifically). So in August 2010 I entered the realm of Apple.
I've liked "Macs" with Mac OS X for a long time, but since my ThinkPad was functional, I didn't need to buy an Apple computer. Well… until September, when his display cracked and I had to quickly find a replacement. Unfortunately, finances were greatly reduced due to the purchase of an iPhone, so I simply could not afford a new piece. Fortunately, there are bazaars and I found an older Mac mini (early 2009) with a monitor and an Apple Wireless Keyboard. Perfect choice for me. It easily transfers between home and private, I don't have to limit myself to a relatively small screen and I can enjoy Full HD movies to the fullest. But having an Apple computer and phone reeks of Steve Jobs obsession.
A large monitor is a good thing, but sometimes you have to "roll out" in a chair or bed while watching your favorite series. I could do that even then, but watching a 21,5" monitor from almost four meters away is not the real thing, and the 3,5" display in the iPhone is more of an emergency solution. Here, only one option was offered – the iPad. We just had to wait to see what improvements the second version of this tablet would bring. Its launch was approaching. In the end, I decided on the first version, as the price for a used piece (16 GB, WiFi) was more than tempting. The performance of the "one" is sufficient for now, and I see no reason to buy the second version. If I leave out games like Real Racing 2, I will be able to use the iPad to its full capacity for the whole of the coming year. After that, he will run out of breath, which, of course, does not bother me too much, since I plan to buy an iPad 3 (perhaps with a higher display resolution). Yes, I succumbed to Apple products. I wouldn't call myself a sheep though. It's not my fault that I like the products and services from Cupertino. And not only me. My girlfriend is planning to buy an iPhone and an iPad after her experience with my iDevices. I also "infected" my sister because she wants to wait for the upcoming iPhone. One colleague has already ordered an iPad 2 because he was blown away by mine. Another is planning it when his laptop stops working.
Apple is growing in the Czech Republic, more and more people will use its products. Be the proof Czech localization in the upcoming Mac OS X Lion, which will certainly help spread apple computers among Czech non-English speaking users.

Hello, very well written. We're the same way, it's like a virus that spreads fast. :))
The beginning as if I were writing... In August 2010, I bought a 3G with iOS 4.0, about a month later I got a 3GS...=o)
I started with a macbook, continued with an iphone, then an ipad. The only thing I miss is iCloud. This will be a bomb, especially the sharing of the document. I tried to solve this with googleapps and after that it messed up most of the text files, never again.
Since I don't have windows, I'm happy. It's interesting to watch the debates around you, how something doesn't work and how to get around it. Well, both mac os and ios have errors (you need a field in the address book, which you can't fill in and you can't connect to ldap without it) or sometimes an event is missing in the calendar in ios). But these are trifles that can be overcome.
And the new iphone for the woman will follow, and when she gets a thinkpad, she will have a mac book air. Well, she'll swear that it's completely different, but she'll speak Czech (finally), so read what she wants from her. Ideal in combination with a sandbox.
I don't know how I do it, but it works by itself. And I thought it was just advertising bullshit...
a bit of a sock, isn't it?
and don't write all your stories in the comments, I honestly don't interest anyone :D
ipod shuffle 3th gen, mac mini 2010, mac book pro 15inch 2010, ipod touch 4th gen, iphone 4, ipad 2, mac mini server 2010... plus some keyboards (3x), mice (2x), remote controls (2x) , trackpad, time capsule, airport express... (all for my own domestic "need") if anyone is interested... feel free to write down how, when and why I bought it :-D
It started with an iPod shuffle won in a tic tac contest :D then followed by an iPod classic 80GB black which was stolen :( :D then followed by an iPod Touch 1gen. and then the iPhone era :) 2x 3G and now I'm the owner of a 3GS :) another month or so two and it will be an iPhone 4 :) followed by an iPad 1gen with which I am extremely satisfied :) I managed to be the owner of a MacBook Pro for 2 months, but I had to return it :/ :D but it won't be long before I buy my MacBook Pro :)
Apple literally changed my life :) and also my attitude towards computer technology :) I love Apple
Very nicely written article :) Most of the things from Apple simply have no competition and a person builds up an addiction to them incredibly quickly. I see the only disadvantage, for example, in the fact that I personally had to start on a Mac and when I occasionally come into contact with Windows, my choleric nature takes it very badly and I'm afraid that I already have one PC on my conscience (thanks impatience and the favorite way to shut down a stuck PC is to help pull the cable out of the socket...)
Well, you know Dan, not all teenagers set up Facebook to be able to afford everything that happens around them.. Those stories don't interest me either, but in any case, there is freedom of expression on the forum.. right?
An objective article for a person to look at.
"XYZ bought an iPhone and a Mac." um, an essential message, broken down by ix sentences. The question is, why should I read it? Like a message on Facebook, but otherwise? Rubbish pubkiistik.
So don't read it, no one is forcing you to!
Nice article, such an outpouring of soul, I'm exactly the same. As you can easily tell from the readers' posts that they never had anything from an apple in their hands in their life, but that's a big mistake truhlíčka
The worst part is that once you start with Apple, you defend it tooth and nail by pointing fingers at others, and after a long time you unwittingly convert other people to your faith... In the last year, in summary, I have converted around 50 people who already have more than 3 Apple products :-)
I don't defend or overlook Apple's mistakes, but I do support it. When I first bought an iPhone, my friends convinced me that it was an overpriced phone that couldn't do anything. Within half a year they had an iPhone too, one with an iPad, another bought a Mac:-) Even my girlfriend, who at first couldn't understand what led me to pay 15 for a stupid mobile phone, within two months she was the proud owner of an iPhone 000G.
There's probably something to it... Another iPhone, iPad followed, and I'm planning a Mac mini in the fall. I just enjoy gagdets :)
Hell, I've been playing all my life, only the price of toys is going up ;-)
Thanks to everyone for the responses - even the negative ones. I definitely didn't want to brag or vent my soul with this article, I really don't need that. Rather, take it as my introduction to this server. There's really nothing more to it ;-)
Finally some (some) Pear !!!!
I salute you

21″ monitor is it a problem to watch from 4 meters? :-) The general recommendations for a 42″ TV are 2,5m for FullHD (so that FullHD does not somehow lose its meaning - I have tested it with daily operation). So why wouldn't a 21" monitor (that's a tiny bit) be viewed from 4 meters away? And that iPad already has enough few inches to watch from 4 meters away? :-)
Otherwise good. :-)
So that you all don't freak out too
Although you are also the owner of an iPad 2, iPhone 4 and appleTV and everything works as it should, but I don't enjoy reading posts like, I bought an iPhone, and it's also 2 years old, and you're all sitting around, acting as if you they were a joke that an apple was ringing in your pocket..
It sounds like I hate Apple products even though I own them myself, but what disgusts me the most is you, iSnobs.
You are talking about some Apple "virus" here, but you are only warmed by the fact that something could be wrong. It's really just a piece of electronics, like all the others and not some kind of idol, if you really like Apple products, then you are satisfied that you have them and you don't show it off like this, this is how you see what you really want and that is to be outstanding..
