There are countless zombie games on the App Store, and they are growing every day. Most of them are "one hill" so to speak, and after the first play you can boldly delete them from your phone. Therefore, it is often difficult to find an interesting and lovingly (at least for the player to feel it) developed zombie game among all of them. And I came across one of these recently. His name is zombie smash.

In Zombie Smash, your main task is to kill the zombies and not let them reach your shelter. Various upgrades will help you, such as a turbine from a windmill or a huge rolling boulder. But the primary and main way to get rid of zombies is to take them and smash them to the ground. The greater the power, the worse the zombie is, and you usually get rid of it after the first hit. But it would be too easy that way and that's why there are more and more zombies.

The game has 3 modes. First, let me introduce you campaign mode It offers 61 levels so far - 31 in Lost Hills (a house in the middle of a meadow) and 30 in Camp Nowhere (a post-apocalyptic city). Each level is like one day/night, so by completing a level you gradually fill in a month in the calendar. Another mode is called endless siege, the so-called endless siege. It's a classic mode where you kill as many zombies as you can before they destroy your sanctuary. And the third is named asndbox, where you actually train, try upgrades, and generally improve. You choose the zombies you want to send to their deaths (if you can even call it that) and your sanctuary has no lifespan, so you can play with the zombies for as long as you want until your device dies (I don't want to think how long you could play if is in the charger).

When I said in the introduction that some games are developed with love, I think this is it. If it wasn't, you'd just kill zombies and that's it. No extensions, nothing. But here, in addition to the already mentioned upgrades, we will find much more. There are many types of zombies here, from fast ones that you can get rid of quickly, to slow ones that are very difficult to destroy (some of them you won't even be able to pick up). That's not all, to get closer to the zombies, the creators even gave them names. Other gems include, for example, the so-called Soccer mode, which you can use in campaign fashion. You choose which country the zombies should support and which country you support. So, for example, zombies in German jerseys attack a house hung with English flags. Good idea, right?

The graphics are top notch, as are the physics. The developers directly let you indulge in the destruction of zombies. This is also proven by the fact that during the game you can take a picture of the moments when the zombie's head or hand is flying off, and then share the picture on social networks or save it in Pictures. All in fun. The above average soundtrack will also please you, which complements the already strong atmosphere.

The game is fun, suitable for relaxation. You can play it anywhere and entertain your friends with it. If you're a fan of zombie games, this is an obvious choice, and if you don't care what you play, Zombie Smash might just be what catches your eye. For €0,79 you get a sophisticated game with original expansions.
