The biggest news in iOS 16 is the completely redesigned lock screen. Users can now create several of these, with the fact that they can subsequently adapt them in various ways according to their taste. Finally, there is an option to add widgets, change the style and color of the time and much more. As the lock screen has changed, so has the interface for customizing it, which has also been overhauled. Together with this, the interface for editing the home screen, i.e. desktop, and wallpaper settings has also changed.

How to blur desktop wallpaper on iPhone

As for changing the wallpaper on the iPhone, it's still nothing complicated, although some users are slightly confused by the new interface. The thing that definitely bothers them the most is that they can't keep the already set wallpaper and have to find it again to make changes. But if this deficiency is overcome, they will find themselves in an interface that is actually not bad at all. There's even a button that makes it easy to blur the desktop wallpaper, which can come in handy - you can find it like this:

  • First, go to the native app on your iPhone Settings.
  • Once you do, get off below and click the section Wallpaper.
  • Here you are now find a pair of wallpapers, for which you want to blur the desktop wallpaper.
  • Then press on the desktop wallpaper on the right Adapt.
  • Then tap the button in the lower right corner of the screen Blur.
  • Finally, all you have to do is confirm the change by pressing Done at the top right.

In the above way, it is possible to simply blur the wallpaper of the home screen, i.e. the desktop, on your iPhone with iOS 16. You can do this with absolutely any wallpaper. In terms of use, this gadget can be useful if you have trouble navigating between applications or widgets with the currently set wallpaper. This is because the blur results in smoothing, so the names and icons of the applications will be easier to read.
