The smart watch market is becoming quite full, and even the big technology companies that have either confirmed the development of the watch or are often speculating about it have not entered the competition - Apple, Google, Samsung, LG, ... So far, the most successful watches in this developing market are Pebble (review here), which originated as an independent hardware project from a crowdsourced server Kickstarter.com. And it is here that other devices are trying to win the favor of customers - HOT Watch.

At first glance, the HOT Watch looks similar to the Pebble in terms of features. It can display notifications from an iOS or Android phone, SMS messages, incoming calls, updates from social networks, weather, stock value or kilometers traveled. However, this is only part of what HOT Watch can do. Instead of passive display, it can communicate with the phone in both directions. First and foremost is receiving calls. The watch contains a small microphone and speaker and uses the human hand to amplify the volume. If you put your hand to your ear while talking, you should thanks to technology Simple clearly hear the other side.

Furthermore, the HOT Watch has a transreflective LCD display (1,26″) just like the Pebble, but it is touch-sensitive and the watch can be controlled through it. Control takes place using gestures, when you draw certain shapes or letters on the display. In addition to touch, the watch also responds to the movement of the hand via the gyroscope and accelerometer, for example by holding it to the ear during ringing, you can pick up the call. Thanks to the touch screen, you can also write SMS from the watch, on the other hand, you can do it faster by taking the phone out of your pocket.

A very interesting function is also the automatic call of an ambulance when the watch detects the fall of its owner. The HOT Watch also includes a vibrating motor to alert you to notifications or events, is waterproof and available in four different versions. Objectively, it can be said that all models look significantly more elegant than Pebble, reminiscent of classic digital watches. They connect to the phone via economical Bluetooth 4.0.

HOT Watch is a successful project on Kickstarter at the moment, they managed to reach the goal amount of 150 dollars in a single day and in the first 000 days they already exceeded this amount once. You can currently pre-order the watch at the cheapest price for $6 on the project page, see source.
