The protagonist of this dramatic serial thriller is a slightly unconventional nine-year-old investigative journalist named Hilde. Hilde, played by child actress Brooklynn Prince (The Florida Project, Angry Birds Movie 2), moves from Brooklyn to a small town on the lake shore. Here they are trying to solve an old criminal case that everyone has already broken the stick over long ago. In addition to Brooklynn Prince, we will also see British actor and musician Jim Sturgess in the series Home Before Dark. The series will have a total of ten one-hour episodes, you can watch the trailer for it below.

Season two of Truth be Told

Apple also officially confirmed late last week that it is preparing a second season of Truth Be Told with Octavia Spencer and Aaron Paul. Apple originally planned to broadcast only one series of this series as part of  TV+, but was also somewhat open to the option of multiple series. Each of the series should then focus on a new story with new characters. Octavia Spencer will once again portray podcast creator Poppy Parnell in the second series of Truth Be Told, but this time the story will deal with a completely new case.

Matt Cherniss of the  TV + team said in this regard that the performance of the leads in the first season of the series was well received by the viewers and added that the entire creative team is looking forward to its second season. The series Truth Be Told was launched in the second half of December last year as part of  TV+. It is not yet certain when the second season of the series will be released.
