While just a few years ago, you would not have thought that AMD would ever be able to match the top Intel at any time in the future, the situation is currently the other way around. Intel simply bided its time and sort of hoped that AMD wouldn't try to price the teeth. Some time ago, however, there was a change in management at AMD, which immediately went full steam ahead. It didn't take long for AMD to slowly catch up to Intel's level, and currently AMD's processors are even better and more desirable than Intel's on many fronts. AMD's success cannot be denied, nor can Intel's failure. The fact that Intel is struggling can also be observed, for example, in the case of MacBooks. The processors in them suffer from overheating and somehow it seems that Intel does not plan to do much about it. Another nail in Intel's coffin was killed by Apple a few weeks ago, as it announced the transition to its own ARM processors, which should be completed within two years. If this actually succeeds, and there is no indication that it shouldn't, then Intel will lose one of the largest customers of its processors.
In addition to all this, Intel has currently received another blow. Of course, with Intel's failure, its stock began to lose value, while AMD's stock began to slowly decline in value. Today, for the first time in 15 years, AMD's stock has become more valuable than Intel's. At the time of writing, AMD shares are worth only a few dozen cents more (AMD $61.79 and Intel $61.57), but the difference will likely continue to widen over time. Of course, when it comes to total company capital, Intel has and will have the upper hand for a long time. In specific numbers, AMD has a capital of 72.43 billion dollars, compared to Intel's almost 261 billion dollars. However, this difference should of course narrow gradually, and who knows, in a few months we may inform you in our magazine that AMD has managed to surpass not only the value of competitor Intel's shares, but also the market capital.

Who will eventually buy Arm Holdings?
A few days ago, news spread across the Internet that Arm Holdings was about to be sold, meaning that a potential buyer of this company was being sought. There were several different tech giants in the running that could be interested in Arm Holdings. One of the candidates was even Apple, mainly due to the announcement of the transition to its own ARM processors, as we already informed you above. However, according to the latest information, Apple is definitely not interested in Arm Holdings. On the other hand, nVidia, which produces graphics cards, showed interest. This information comes from Bloomberg magazine, but nVidia itself, i.e. the company's spokesperson, did not comment on this situation and only noted that nVidia simply does not comment on speculation. So we'll see how this whole deal pans out and who becomes the future owner of Arm Holdings.
