YouTube CEO: We will remove all objectionable content about the coronavirus from YouTube

CEO YouTube Susan Wokcicki se she let it be heard, that the company intends strongly perform against all who will spread on their platform false information about the current global coronavirus pandemic COVID-19. Specifically, it is "any content masquerading as health advice that will contradict the official recommendations published by the World Health Organization (WHO)". Such "problematic" content will be removed from the YouTube platform without notice removed. Such objectionable videos will include, for example, those in which there is a recommendation that taking an increased dose of vitamin C can cure an infected person, etc. At first glance, the above described may seem like a conscious fight against various disinformation, however, it must be taken into account that the WHO is not performing well in the current crisis as an authority that should present generally valid recommendations - such as some contradictory recommendations and measures, published several days in a row (wearing masks, traveling...). The measures taken are from one side welcome, but from the second there are mentions of censorship and whether the WHO's statements and recommendations are completely legitimate and should be considered as such unquestionable.

Nvidia's GeForce Now streaming service is facing more problems

Streaming service nVidia GeForce Now, which promised a refined gaming experience on all platforms, has more and more more problems. In recent weeks from the service removed its titles big publishing houses and development studios, which include for example Activision-Blizzard, Bethesda, 2K and more. From the service gradually disappears more and more popular titles, which is quite a major problem to the user base. There may be reasons for the removal of individual publishers' game libraries many, however, was not officially communicated none. Individual developers and publishers are either working on their own service of this type, or want to have their own content available only through either their own or related digital sales platforms (Steam, Epic Game Store, EA Origin, Battle.net...). In addition, information about the cancellation of cooperation with other publishers appears more and more often. Among the last who do not want to offer their game library as part of the service are Microsoft Xbox Game Studios, Warner Bros, Codemasters, Clay Entertainment and more. Players thus lost the ability to stream, for example, a popular series Gears of War, Halo, or titles from the series Force, Batman and many others. If things continue like this, the initially promising looking service will be destined to failure.

The new Microsoft Flight Simulator will require a beefy gaming machine

Flight simulator fans beware. A new version of the legendary should be released by the end of this year Microsoft Flight Simulator, which was first introduced last June at E3. All the videos, images, and other gameplay footage released so far have looked perfect ravishingly and it could thus be expected that the hardware requirements for the decent operation of the new title would not be the lowest. That's more or less now confirmed. The lowest recommended configuration should include at least a 4-core processor, 8GB of RAM, a graphics card with at least 2GB of VRAM, and up to 150GB of disk space. The ideal setup is logically far more powerful and contains relatively high-end components (CPU/GPU) and, for example, 32 GB of RAM. What is surprising, however, are the requirements for an Internet connection. Since the game has to offer practically the whole world, it will use the unique technology of streaming visual content, which rendering will be used cloud infrastructure Microsoft Azure. Following on from this, the game requires at least a 5 Mbps internet connection. With the texture quality set, there will be a request for increase the speed of the Internet connection. Connection speed will be required for maximum quality level and texture resolution at least 50 Mbps.
