Experts from the FBI were able to unlock the iPhone (again).

People put a certain amount of trust in their Apple devices. Apple presents its products as some of the safest and most reliable, which is also confirmed by its actions so far. But a problem can arise in the event of a terrorist attack, when the security forces need to get to the data of the attacker, but they do not manage to break through Apple's protection. At such moments, the community is divided into two camps. For those who want Apple to unlock the phone in such cases, and others who consider privacy the most important thing, for every person without exception. Last December, a terrible news flashed through the media. In the state of Florida, there was a terrorist attack in which three people lost their lives and another eight were seriously injured. Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, who just happened to own an iPhone, was responsible for this act.

This is how Apple promoted privacy in Las Vegas last year:

Of course, experts from the FBI were immediately involved in the investigation, who needed access to as much information as possible. Apple partly listened to their pleas and provided the investigators with all the data the attacker had stored on iCloud. But the FBI wanted more – they wanted to get right into the attacker's phone. To this, Apple issued a statement in which it said that it regrets the disaster, but still cannot create any backdoor to their iOS operating system. Such a function could do more harm than good and could possibly be misused by terrorists again. According to the latest news CNN but now experts from the FBI managed to bypass Apple's security and got into the attacker's phone today. Of course, we will never know how they achieved this.

Apple just released iOS 13.5 GM to developers

Today we also saw the release of the so-called Golden Master version of the iOS and iPadOS operating system labeled 13.5. The GM designation means that this should be the final version, which will soon be available to the general public. However, if you want to try the system now, a developer profile is enough for you and you are practically done. What awaits us in the new version of these two operating systems? The most anticipated new feature is, of course, the tracking API. On this, Apple worked together with Google to discreetly track people in order to slow down the spread of the new type of coronavirus and stop the current global pandemic. Another news is again directly related to the current pandemic. In many countries, the mandatory wearing of face masks has been introduced, which of course has become a thorn in the side of iPhone users with Face ID technology. But the update will bring one small, but nevertheless fundamental change. As soon as you turn on the screen of your phone and Face ID does not recognize you, the option to enter the code appears almost immediately. Until now, you had to wait a few seconds to enter the code, which easily wasted your time.

What's New in iOS 13.5:

If you use group FaceTime calls, you know that the panel with each participant in the call automatically enlarges when that person is talking. However, many users did not like this dynamic view, and you will now be able to turn this function off. Because of this, the participant panels will be the same size, while you can still zoom in on someone yourself with a simple click. Another feature again targets your health. If you call the emergency services and have this function activated, you will automatically share your health information (Health ID) with them. The latest news concerns Apple Music. When listening to music, you will be able to share the song directly to the Instagram story, where a panel with the title and inscription will be added  Music. Lastly, several bugs should be fixed, including security cracks in the native Mail application. You can see all the news in the gallery attached above.
