In June, a new version of OS X labeled 10.12 will probably be presented at WWDC. One of its main innovations should be the voice assistant from iOS, Siri.

Reported by Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac, citing his usually very reliable sources. He learned from them that Siri in the OS X version, which has been in testing since 2012, is now almost complete and will be part of the next version of OS X codenamed Fuji. Apple has set a clear vision for Siri to have a home on the Mac in the top system tray, alongside Spotlight and the Notification Center.

It can be activated either by clicking on the microphone icon in the bar, using a selected keyboard shortcut, or by saying "Hey Siri" if the computer is currently connected to the network. In response, a dark transparent rectangle with a color animation of sound waves and the question "What can I help you with?" will appear in the upper right part of the display.

Although this form is more of a prediction 9to5Mac, is based on information from cited sources, and the similarity to the depiction of Siri in iOS also speaks in its favor. Nevertheless, it is possible that it will still change before the June launch.

Siri can be turned on, off, and more closely set in the computer settings, but the system will ask to turn on the new function at the first start after installation, similar to newer versions of iOS.

Adding to the likelihood of Siri coming to OS X this year is the fact that Apple has recently been expanding its voice assistant to all of its devices, most recently to the Apple Watch and the new Apple TV. If Siri does arrive on OS X 10.12, Apple should present it as the biggest new feature of the operating system, which should not change fundamentally compared to the current El Capitan.

At the same time, the expansion of the voice assistant into the next big product could raise the hope that Apple could localize it in other languages, including Czech. In the Czech Republic, using Siri is still not very convenient, in some products, such as Apple TV, it is not possible to activate it at all with a Czech account, in others we are limited to only English commands. However, there is no talk yet about expanding Siri to other languages.
