Many of you have probably dreamed of being a secret agent or a professional assassin. Thanks to the new game Hitman: Sniper from the developers at Square Enix, you have a unique opportunity. Hitman aka Agent 47 was born as a tool to kill unwanted people and gangsters. The primary task in the game is to focus on the given target and neutralize it.

Although the new Hitman is ultimately not as complex a game as Modern Combat 5, because it is a static shooter, I haven't been hooked on an iPhone game for a long time. Although the environment remains practically the same even after twenty rounds, Hitman: Sniper is still a thoughtful game and at least a new character appears after each round.

The developers have prepared a portion of fun for the players for a long time and you can test your sniper skills in more than 150 missions that take place in the Black Mountain environment. Of course, career progression works great in the game, and the more successful you are, the faster you unlock new weapons, upgrades, and other goodies. You will surely appreciate those in the game, it is not better to leave a real mess behind you sometimes.

Hitman: Sniper is very easy and intuitive to control. I haven't come across such good controls for sniper rifles yet, where the sensitivity is absolutely great and the game doesn't forgive you anything. Likewise, physical and human laws apply in the game. When you shoot next door and accidentally break a mirror or a lamp, the guards are sure to hear it. Likewise, if you hit your opponent in the arm or leg, you can't count on him falling to the ground like in some B-shooter.

On the contrary, he begins to limp or stagger, as would probably happen in the real world. You'll also appreciate the fact that the guards change direction at will, so don't expect some learned moves that repeat over and over again.

In each mission, you are tasked with eliminating some bosses and associated tasks. I can say that a few times it took me a long time to figure out how to complete the given task. I also used the option to skip the mission several times using the money I earned. In the game, you can help yourself with various explosions, special missiles and, above all, slowing down time, which is a very effective trick.

Each rifle has different equipment, aiming capabilities, power and accuracy. So the first rounds are a bit reminiscent of a hunting season somewhere in the forest, but after a few rounds you will unlock better calibers.

The developers also did a great job with the graphics and the whole concept of the game. All menus and settings are clear and user-friendly. There are also various ratings, medals and social elements in the form of comparing performances with other players.

Hitman: Sniper is compatible with all iOS devices and can be purchased in the App Store for €4,99. However, the developers warn that the new Hitman can sometimes be too demanding for the iPad 2, iPad mini, iPhone 4S or iPod touch 5th generation. The game also has in-app purchases, which you can use to buy, for example, new weapons or speed up your career progression in various ways. I can definitely say that the game is worth the money, and if you like action shooters, adrenaline and want to at least virtually become a secret agent, then do not hesitate and download it. You will not regret.
