It made me fall in love with the game almost immediately Dead venture, which I stumbled upon in the App Store. Although there are a number of similar games, I have not yet come across a similar game concept. Because to a certain extent you have an open world at your disposal with a lot of tasks and a ton of undead. Only metal, weapons and some armor separate you from death. So go for it.
Dead Venture is basically a very simple game. At the beginning, you have at your disposal a primitive vehicle with which you must go to the world of the undead. At first you just mow them down, but with the first upgrade I recommend buying a weapon. You gradually improve your vehicle, and not only in terms of armament. You have to upgrade the engine, tank capacity or armor. In each world, you have a number of tasks, most often to destroy a certain number of zombies, save civilians or blow up some buildings. The more zombies you kill, the more gold you get.

You probably guessed correctly that there are no mods without gold coins. At first I was really annoyed by the ads that popped up every time I died. Fortunately, the developer offers a one-time in-app purchase worth 59 crowns. I didn't hesitate for a minute and bought it immediately. I definitely have no regrets. Not only did I receive more gold after each round, but the developers also gave me a tank right away. And that's just real fun.
Every time the undead smash your vehicle to pieces or you run out of gas, you start over. However, you will gradually go further and further until you complete all the tasks. Then comes the move to a new location. But before that, you have to protect the convoy and kill the main boss. Dead Venture also offers a simple story where you watch your community gradually grow. I also like the graphics, including effects and exploding barrels and cars. Of course, as you improve your vehicle, the zombies who keep throwing or spitting at you also improve.
In short, Dead Venture is a real firefight with everything. You mow down zombies like on a treadmill and upgrade your fleet. You control the cars using virtual right/left directional buttons. You also have throttle and brake, nothing more. It's just a pity that the tasks are very similar and the world could be a bit bigger. Even so, I like the game very much. After a long time, I also supported some game developers with direct in-app purchase and I don't regret it. Dead Venture you can download for free in the App Store. Have a fun.
