Have you ever wondered how a person who participated in the creation of one of the most legendary and most important companies of today lives? Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of Apple, sold his headquarters some time ago. In connection with this, photographs of Wozniak's residence became public. The house, located in California's Los Gatos, the heart of Silicon Valley, was built in 1986, and the workers responsible for the construction of Apple's offices, among others, participated in its design.

In the apple spirit

Wozniak had a decisive say in the design of his home, and he took great care in it. The spacious house boasts six rooms and a minimalist, elegant, modern design exactly in the spirit of Apple. It is impossible not to notice the similarity with the iconic Apple Story, consisting mainly of smooth, white walls, rounded shapes and perfectly chosen, understated lighting, which gives the entire headquarters a unique atmosphere. The house also plays an important role in natural light, which is let into the interior through large windows. Among the most widely used materials are metal and glass, in terms of colors, white prevails.

Perfection in detail and underground surprises

The Wozniak house impresses not only at first glance, but also upon closer inspection. Imaginative details include, for example, a glass section with a colored mosaic in the ceiling above the dining table, a skylight in the kitchen on the first floor or perhaps original lighting in the individual rooms. All the materials used, such as the luxurious granite in the kitchen or the mosaic in one of the bathrooms, are thought out in detail. When it comes to rich people's homes, we're used to all sorts of fads. Even Steve Wozniak has his own specialty in his house. In his case, it is a cave, for the construction of which, among other things, 200 tons of concrete and six tons of steel were used. Artificially created stalactites are formed by a steel frame, sprayed with a special concrete mixture, in the cave you can find faithful copies of fossils and wall paintings. But prehistoric times certainly do not rule in Wozniak's cave - the space is equipped with a retractable wall with a built-in screen and high-quality speakers with surround sound.

Something for everyone

When designing the interior, the needs of all family members were taken into account. On each of the floors you will find a separate living room with its own functional fireplace and a breathtaking view, the children's rooms are also worth noting - the painting on the wall of one of them was done by none other than Erick Castellan from the Disney studio. The house also includes a large area called "Children's Discovery Place", reminiscent of an amusement park with slides, climbing frames and lots of space. In the house you will find a lot of pleasant places to sit, the original icing on the cake is a small attic bedroom, from which you can go down an iron rod in the style of a fireman. The bathrooms in the house offer enough space for hygiene and relaxation, the house also has terraces with a view and a superbly situated outdoor pool or a picturesque lake with a waterfall and a rockery.

Hard sell

Wozniak's house was first put up for sale in 2009. That's when patent attorney Randy Tung bought it for more than three million dollars. After he renovated the mansion, he wanted to resell it again in 2013, initially for five million dollars, but he was not very lucky with a buyer. The house's price fluctuated several times, settling at $2015 million in 3,9, and the house was bought by pharmaceutical entrepreneur Mehdi Paborji. It was very important to the owner that the house be bought by someone who would really appreciate its value.
