Enough has already been written about the magical tablet from Apple. However, what no one has done until now is to use the iPad as a music creation device, i.e. create an entire album on it. This fact will soon be a thing of the past, the band Gorillaz will take care of it.

Damon Albarn, singer of the band Blur and frontman of the band Gorillaz, announced that their new album will be completely recorded using a revolutionary apple tablet - the iPad. He stated this fact in an interview with the music magazine NME from Great Britain.

Albarn further stated: “We're going to do it on the iPad, hopefully it'll be the first iPad recording. I have really loved this tablet since I started using it. Thus, we will create a completely different kind of recording." The release date of the album is currently set for before Christmas.

In any case, if the Gorillaz group really realizes its intentions, it will be the first ever professional music album recorded on the iPad. I'm hoping the band will post a list of the apps they used for the recording afterwards, which could be really interesting and certainly helpful to other musicians interested in the idea.

We will find out how it all turns out in the end, whether the album will be recorded, or whether the band will meet the set release date, within about a month. However, it is already clear that this is a very interesting project.
