At the keynote during the second day of the Google I/O conference, the company presented two interesting applications for iOS. The first of these is the Chrome browser, currently the most popular internet browser in the world. It will closely resemble the current version of Chrome for Android. It will offer a universal address bar, panels identical to the desktop version, which are not limited as in Safari, where you can only open eight at a time, as well as synchronization between all devices. This applies not only to bookmarks and history, but also to login information.

The second application is Google Drive, a client for cloud storage, which Google recently launched and thus expanded the possibilities of the existing Google Docs. The application can search all files in a unique way, because the service also includes OCR technology and can thus find text even in images. Files can also be shared from the client. It is not yet clear whether, for example, it will be possible to directly edit documents. Currently, there is no quality application that allows editing text documents, tables and presentations as easily as the browser version offers. Together with the new client, Google also announced offline editing of documents. Hopefully it will reach mobile devices as well.

Both apps are expected to appear in the App Store today, presumably for free like all Google apps. It will certainly please you that both applications will be in Czech and Slovak.
