If you are a fan of the series (or the book version) Game of Thrones, we have good news for you. Towards the end of October, a new game belonging to this world should appear in the App Store. It will be called Game of Thrones: Conquest and it will be an MMO strategy. Developers from the Turbine studio released a trailer today, which you can view below in the article.
As it seems, the next book volume is nowhere in sight and most likely won't appear until at least the middle of next year. The series is also basically nearing its end, leaving fans of the series with not many ways to satisfy their hunger for new content. However, that could change in a few weeks.
Game of Thrones: Conquest will arrive on the App Store on October 19, and is expected to be a strategy MMO. As such, the trailer has no telling value, given that it is a pre-rendered piece of footage. However, it should at least get the fans in the mood.
The game should allow the player to build his own clan, with which he will then fight with other players. The game should feature combat, politics, intrigue, and influence over the Seven Kingdoms. The game will feature familiar faces from the series, as well as some iconic locations.
Currently it is possible to pre-register, giving you $50 worth of in-game items. You don't pay anything for it, and you'll also be notified when the game arrives in the App Store (or Google Play Store).

So I tried the game and so, at least for me, no glory. If you at least want to enjoy the game a little, then you have to pay like hell, I was not dazzled in the free version. What I had the chance to try, I rather recommend Game of Thrones straight from HBO and Telltale Games, that alone indicates quality. The game blends well with the series, it really has something in it.
