The power of cell phones is that once you unbox them and fire up the camera app, you can immediately take photos with them. Just aim at the scene and press the shutter, anytime and (almost) anywhere. But the result will also look like that. So it takes some thought to make your images as pleasing as possible. And from that, here is our series Taking photos with an iPhone, in which we show you everything you need. Now let's see that there are other alternative photography apps on iOS 

The Camera title has the advantage of being available across the entire system – from the lock screen as well as the control center. However, many third-party apps already offer at least widgets, so you can get to them a lot faster than before iOS 14. But they offer more than Camera. Much more.

Moment 

Although Pro Camera by Moment comes from the creators of accessories in the form of additional lenses and covers for iPhones, you can boldly use it without it. With the title you get access to full manual camera settings. This allows you to configure individual parameters and continuously make various changes, such as adjusting the shutter speed, exposure, ISO, white balance and, of course, focus. However, Focus Peaking also manages the moment, so it tells you where to focus with the help of highlighted points. There are also the so-called Zebra Stripes, which, on the other hand, also inform about burns and arson. You will also find a number of photo modes, such as time-lapse or slow-shutter photography. In addition to all this, you can shoot in RAW, record in 4K, etc.

Manual, semi-automatic, selfie, portrait or sequence - this is just a list of some of the modes that the title will offer. There is also a timer that can be set directly on the iPhone or remotely on the Apple Watch. The application is intended for enthusiastic amateurs and experienced professionals. Everyone can easily find their way around the intelligent and intuitive interface, also thanks to the Czech language. An interesting function is certainly the 3D Tiltmeter, which can handle the tilting of the captured scene, as well as the shot stabilization technology. There is also manual determination of values, Zebra Stripes, shooting in RAW, or the option to display a live histogram. However, the application also stands out with its editing features.
