The last time Apple introduced new products was on Monday, we got the last details about Watch and new MacBook, but speculation is already starting to see what the Californian company will present next. Force Touch, a novelty in both mentioned products, should also appear in the next generation of iPhones.

Force Touch first appeared on the Apple Watch display and the MacBook trackpad, which became pressure-sensitive touch surfaces. This means that they will recognize how hard you are pressing the display/trackpad and perform a different action accordingly (for example, a stronger press replaces the right mouse button).

According to sources The Wall Street Journal just Force Touch plans Apple to include in its new iPhones, which it should present in the fall. The display sizes (4,7 and 5,5 inches) as well as their resolution should be the same. However, Apple is considering one more innovation – it is currently testing a fourth color variant, rose gold, in the laboratories.

However, the rose gold version may not appear in the new iPhones at all, and so does Force Touch. Mass production of the components is scheduled to begin in May and The Wall Street Journal points out that Apple traditionally tries different options when developing new products, but not all of them make it to the final version.

At the very least, the presence of a pressure-sensitive surface is quite likely in iPhones as well, after Apple deployed it in the Watch and MacBooks. Thanks to this, we could expect, for example, innovative applications and games.
