Have you ever found yourself looking at a plane in the sky and wondering where it's going? If so, it couldn't be easier to download the FlightRadar24 Pro app and find out right away.

After launching, a Google map will appear and the application will focus on your location. After a while, yellow planes will appear on the map, representing real planes in real time. If you want to know more information about a given flight, just select the aircraft and click on the blue arrow in the field. I dare say that the most interesting information will be the type of aircraft and the destination. Aviation fans will certainly appreciate information about altitude, speed, or even flight course. You can even see a photo of the aircraft in question for ČSA line connections.

There is also a setting where we can filter planes on the map according to speed, height and airline. Using the camera as a small radar to search for planes in your vicinity seems like an interesting option. You point it at the sky and if there is an aircraft in your immediate vicinity, you should see the flight information right next to the actual aircraft in the camera shot. In the settings, there is an option to increase the radius for observing with the camera.

On-line observation of the aircraft is possible thanks to the ADS-B system, which very simply represents a safety alternative to current radars based on the transmission of its data to other flight and ground stations equipped with ADS-B. Today, over 60% of all civil aircraft in the world use this technology. But sometimes it happens that the flight data lacks information - where and where the plane is flying from. This is due to the incompleteness of the FlightRadar24 database, which recognizes flights by their call signs. There is also a free version available, but it only displays the location of the planes with the flight number and airline name.
