A big update Issued for its iOS application Flickr, which in version 3.0 mainly presents a completely redesigned user interface. This is to make taking and organizing photos easier. When taking pictures, it is now possible to use 14 live filters and record HD video in Flickr.

The new user interface offers a cleaner tiled gallery, and the way you use filters, which can now be applied to your shots before you take them, is very similar to Instagram. Library search is also made easier with a smart search engine where you can filter images by date, time, location, and even what's on them.

The Auto Sync feature ensures that the iOS app automatically uploads all photos taken directly to Flickr. It provides its users with a full 1 TB of free space, so there is plenty of space for a cloud backup of all your photos.

Previously unavailable video recording is now also available in the iOS application, Flickr wants to fight with competing services such as Instagram or Vine, which also allow video recording. The video can also be edited in Flickr, including the application of filters.

Flickr continues to offer its iOS client completely free of charge.
