FlapCraft is a beautiful, but really beautifully crafted game from the developers of the famous graphics program Pixelmator. And even though its principle is quite simple, it will definitely entertain for a while.

The whole game is actually about jumping with a viking on a log from a relatively wobbly bridge and you have to jump as far as possible, but so that the game is not always so terribly monotonous in each level it is a little bit different. Sometimes, for example, you have to fly a certain distance, be in the air for a certain minimum time, follow a certain trajectory, reach a speed of x vikingmeters per hour, and so on. You can see what your task is and how you are doing on the tiny indicator at the top of the screen.

However, in order to be able to complete even the more complex tasks, of which there are over 30 in the game, you will need to improve your log a little. And that's for the money you get as a reward after each jump, so the more you know and the further you fly, the more money and the better the log.

The whole game has really simple controls. You direct the viking by tilting the phone and activate additional rockets by touching the display. And besides, as I already mentioned, the game has amazing graphics and sounds. The only pity is the length of the game, because you can complete the entire campaign in one afternoon, and according to the developers, FlapCraft is a one-time project showing the possibilities of Pixelmator, so we probably can't expect any further updates, but even so, for €1,59, it's definitely worth a try. My rating: 8/10.
