Today, Apple took several more important steps in the field of global distribution of digital content. It first made its iTunes Match service available to Polish and Hungarian customers, and then allowed a number of new countries to use iTunes in the Cloud (iTunes in the cloud) even for movie content. These countries include, for example, Colombia, but also the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Additionally, TV show downloads are available in Canada and the UK.
Apple's cloud services allow you to download to any device for free content that has already been captured on another device with the same Apple ID. Until now, customers could use this service to buy apps, music, video clips, books and synchronize them with each other.
Apple has not yet updated its list of countries in which the service is active. So far, there is only anecdotal information. According to the server MacRumors this news was launched in the following countries:
Australia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Venezuela and Vietnam.
I heard somewhere that if I buy a DVD and put it in a Mac, it can be imported into iTunes, as if I bought it not in an e-shop, but directly on iTunes, and then it was on my account as having been purchased, and then I could download it, for example, on Apple TV or something else mac. of course, provided that I have a US account with a credit card. does anyone know anything about it?
You can only do this with music - the service is called iTunes Match and it's great! For €25 a year, he legalizes 80% of your collection, the rest is uploaded from your mp3s.
It doesn't legalize anything at all, you're confusing concepts with impressions a bit.
how will it be taken those that are replaced with original files from the itunes store during synchronization will basically be legalized for you. you will delete mp3s and you will only be left with files from the itunes store that you legally downloaded through itunes match.
Nothing will be legalized for you. According to the terms of iTunes Match, you can only use legally obtained music for this, so there is no question of legalization. And if you record music there illegally, then it is still illegally obtained music and you have no proof that you obtained it legally.
Steve, you are wrong. Although Apple does not officially write it anywhere, technically it is really about legalizing stolen music. After downloading from iTunes Match, you no longer know what you legally bought from your collection and what you "passed" through iTunes Match from stolen mp3s... Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied with iTunes Match. 10/10
It doesn't say that officially, because you don't buy any music by purchasing the iTunes Match service. You are buying a certain service and that service is definitely not about legalizing stolen music. If you stop looking for clicks for the so-called "legalization" and use normal common sense, the difference between stolen music and legally obtained music must be clear to everyone. And we can think anything about selling music, especially here.
Very Slovak. Yes, theoretically you are right, but only you have it in your head that it is illegal music, but otherwise for everyone else it is the same music as if they bought it classically through iTunes
No, for everyone, it's just music with a bad attitude, hand on heart. It's never going to be music to anyone the way they bought it. How do you speak English? I do not understand. You are buying a service, not music. There is no jargon involved. And the fact that the majority of teenagers in our country will pretend that they actually bought all those illegal gigabytes of music is already local folklore. How about I just lie to myself and take it easy. They are no different from those thieves who did not buy the iTunes Match service. That's a bare fact.
Does this also work on custom movies/clips added to iTunes? It would be nice to have footage from the camera and camera in the cloud, possibly also movies and series.
I also want to ask how it is with iTunes Movies in the Czech Republic, dubbing probably not much, but what about the availability or any possibility of Czech subtitles?
Some films are dubbed in Czech. But there are few of them. Otherwise, there are no subtitles :-) that's exactly why it's unusable for us.
Movies in the Cloud is not iTunes Match for movies! Basically, if you buy a movie, you can always download it again for free.

Well, until now I thought that if you buy something, you can download it again at any time, even before Movies in the Cloud. If not, I'm kind of disappointed.

We can still forget about buying series and most movies and shows.
Tribute from Apple's point of view, we have the wrong continent under our feet.
Wait wait, it's been working since we had iTunes in the Czech Republic... classically, I bought a song in iTunes and then when I wanted to download it on the iPad, I had the song purchased, it said that I had already bought it and only I missed him. Classic as with applications... In addition, in iTunes on Mac, music purchased in iTunes is automatically downloaded. Which can also be set on the iPad... So I don't know what has become available to us...
It didn't work that way with movies. You download once and you're done.
Well, that's it ;) well, that's the way it is...
