Dan Pražák We are exactly one month away from the launch of Apple TV+, and although Apple revealed a few more details about its upcoming streaming service at the September conference, some questions still remain unanswered. Users from non-English-speaking countries are primarily interested in whether original content will be available on Apple TV+ with different dubbing or with different localized subtitles. But it seems that in this respect Apple is ready and at least partially thought of us, the Czech users.
If you watch the ready-made version of Apple TV+ on Apple TV, you will notice that all the annotations and titles of series or documentaries are translated into Czech, which, for example, the popular Neflix still does not offer even after several years since its launch in the Czech Republic.
However, the fact that practically all the trailers published so far also offer Czech subtitles is even more interesting. After all, this indicates that even the expected titles will have Czech subtitles. Apple also offers dubbing other than English for most of the demos - most often French, Italian, Japanese, German, Portuguese and Spanish - but none of them have Czech dubbing. This is not at all limiting for series and documentaries, but for content intended for the younger part of the audience, the limited offer of dubbing could be a problem, especially for example for the animated series Snoopy in Space, which also targets children of preschool age who cannot yet read.

To what extent Apple will present its original films and series in different languages, whether as part of dubbing or subtitles, we will probably find out definitively only on November 1, when Apple TV+ starts. All interested parties will be able to try the service for free for 7 days, after this period it will cost 139 CZK per month. Apple also offers a free annual subscription to anyone who buys a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or Apple TV.

Otherwise, the Czech subtitles on Netflix will be available in a matter of days, there are already screenshots, it takes some time to translate, we know?
