A few weeks before the expected premiere of the film Steve Jobs a media campaign is underway, in which the biggest acting stars tell us details from the filming and about the film as such. Most recently, Michael Fassbender stated that his dissimilarity with Steve Jobs is intentional.

Last week Michael Stuhlbarg revealed, how unique the filming schedule was, which was based on Aaron Sorkin's script, and Kate Winslet in turn she revealed, by what chance she got the role of Joanna Hoffman.

But the main star is Michael Fassbender, who took on the very challenging role of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. However, from the footage released so far, we could tell that the filmmakers did not try to make Fassbender a Jobs double (unlike the previous image Jobs and Ashton Kutcher).

"We decided that I looked nothing like him and that we would not try to look like him." he said pros Time Fassbender, who was eventually chosen by director Danny Boyle for the lead role after being turned down by several actors before him.

"We mainly wanted to capture the essence and make it our own thing," added Fassbender, who, for example, does not have Jobs' dark hair or long nose. On the contrary, he certainly resembles him in style and clothes. According to director Boyle, the creators were trying "for a portrait rather than a photograph".

In addition, the role was not easy for Fassbender due to the fact that the technological world is completely outside of him. “I'm terrible with technology. I refused the cell phone for so long that people had to tell me, 'We can't reach you, it can't go on like this,'" Fassbender admits. According to Boyle, what unites him with Jobs, on the other hand, is his complete uncompromising approach to acting.

The structure of the film will not be ordinary either. The three half-hour episodes will map the three major products of Jobs' career: the Macintosh, the NeXT and the iMac. Everything will take place behind the scenes, just before Jobs introduced the mentioned products. Acclaimed screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is responsible for this unconventional concept.

"It's not a birth story, it's not an invention story, it's not how the Mac was created," explains Sorkin. “I thought audiences would come in expecting to see a little boy with his father looking into the window of an electronics store. Then the greatest moments of Jobs' life would be presented. And I didn't think I'd be good at it," said the screenwriter for The Social Network.
