Fantastical is one of the most popular third-party calendars for Apple devices. On iPhone, it's even more powerful than ever in version 2.2, thanks to the new features in iOS 8. Fantastical gets a Notification Center widget, quick event creation inside other apps, and interactive notifications.
To begin with, it is important to mention that Fantastical 2 with the new version requires iOS 8. It is only in the latest operating system that we can use most of the new features.
Fantastical can now be viewed as a widget in the Notification Center, which means that without having to open the app itself, you have a preview of the entire month in the Today tab, as we know it from Fantastical, including a listing of the day's events. Individual months can be browsed directly in the Notification Center, and holding your finger on the selected date will take you to the application and directly to the window for creating a new event for that day. You cannot create events directly in the widget.
In the same way, clicking on an event below the monthly overview will take you to the details of the event. If you use reminders in Fantastical, you will also see them in the Notification Center. If you don't want to clutter up the Notification Center with a large monthly overview, Fantastical can only display events for the current day.
The developers in Fantastical 2.2 have also implemented so-called extensions, where it is possible to create new events in other applications. You select the text and it appears as the name of the event. Many users will certainly also welcome interactive notifications, thanks to which it is possible to respond to reminders and events without having to open the application. For the iPhone 6 Plus, the new Fantastical has an improved landscape view mode for the calendar.
Fantastical for iPhone and iPad are on sale as part of the new update with 40 and 20 percent off, respectively.

only the number of the day directly on the icon is missing for perfection, but even the new API for third-party developers probably still doesn't allow that. The widget is great, I canceled the native one, this one is much better.
Fantastical is great, I only have a problem with facebook events. If I decline them, I still see them in the calendar. Any advice? Thanks a lot
May I ask how I get the app Jablířkár? (in the right corner of the last photo)
I couldn't find it in the app store..
Thank you :)
It will just be a safari bookmark
Yes, as a colleague writes, it is not an application, only a bookmark from Safari.
I liked the sunrise calendar. Also, I have a bit of a problem with the management of company honor at Google, there Apple does not ask about it at all, so all applications connected to the default settings of the iPhone have a problem with it. Damage. Sunrise does it all the way around and it works much better.
I don't know what's wrong with me. Badly set up, but somehow I can't find how to set the notification on the lockscreen.
