It's simple. The blue Facebook icon will always be lit in the Menu bar, and if you click on it, the most popular social network will pop up as we know it from the mobile interface on iPhone or iPod touch. In addition to the chat, we will have quick access to practically everything that Facebook offers its users. However, according to the Sizzling Apps development team, chat should also be available in future versions.
FaceMenu updates itself in the background, so you should get fresh content every time you open the app, including incoming messages or new notifications. Of course, you can update your status, create a new event, view photos and much more through FaceMenu.
In addition, FaceMenu will not bother you with an icon in the dock, it will only do with the one in the Menu bar, which is nice. What's worse is that the icon lights up blue all the time, but the developers promise that in the next update the icon will light up blue only when you have a new message or notification, which is very handy.
You will pay less than four euros for such a Facebook client for Mac, but if you don't want to use the browser all the time, you probably won't hesitate too much. In addition, developers should constantly work on the application, which could mean various other improvements in the future.

You're right, I personally use this as well, but those are just notifications, someone would like full access :) Moreover, it's a shame that they don't update Facebook Notification anymore, because it doesn't work very well with the change in the grouping of notifications.
