Facebook has quietly released its new app. It is called Tuned, it is used for sending messages and should represent a private space for connecting partner couples. The news about the application was brought by The Information server. The NPE experimental group, which was founded in the company last year, is behind the creation of the application.

Couples should use the Tuned application not only to send messages, but also to share various notes, virtual postcards, voice messages, photos or even songs from the music streaming service Spotify. Through this mutual communication, over time, they create a kind of digital diary of their relationship. The app description on the App Store states, among other things, that Tuned gives couples the opportunity to be themselves, even when they cannot be physically together. "Express your love creatively, share your mood, exchange music and create a digital scrapbook of your special moments," the creators of the app challenge users.

The app is completely free and couples can connect through their phone numbers. Although Tuned comes from the workshop of Facebook, a Facebook account is not a requirement to use it. However, before using it, users must agree to Facebook's terms and conditions. Among other things, this also means that the information that users enter during registration can be used for advertising targeting purposes. In relation to the Tuned application, Facebook says that if the application does not prove useful to users, it will be immediately removed from the App Store. Tuned application will spread among users gradually - at the time of writing this article, it was not yet available in the Czech App Store.
