This is an issue where it is not possible to write and send messages. The frequency of this problem is so extensive that Facebook decided to solve it, based on information from affected users. As soon as you want to write another line of text, the application no longer registers the required characters and letters are not added to the line. The app seems to be frozen and nothing can be done with it. The problem does not disappear even after turning off the application or restarting the phone. If, on the other hand, you suffer from this problem, you are out of luck for now. Facebook is aware of this bug and is currently working on a fix. There is no official word yet on when this fix will arrive as part of an update to the App Store. This can be somewhat annoying, as the application cannot be used in this state. Some users claim that this error can be avoided by turning off autocorrect. Others, on the other hand, claim that it happens regardless of the correction of the text. The prevalence of this bug is by no means extensive, but it affects enough users for it to be brought to the attention of developers. We'll let you know as soon as the fix patch comes out.
