While it certainly wasn't a complicated piece of programming, it took Facebook two and a half years to release its Facebook Messenger app for the iPad as well. Now, however, owners of apple tablets can also comfortably chat within their own application, until now this was only possible via the official client.

Facebook Messenger for iPad (there is one universal version in the App Store) does not bring anything groundbreaking. The developers just took advantage of the larger display, so next to the large window with the conversation itself, you can also see a list of other threads, between which you can easily jump.

On the iPad, you can use Facebook Messenger in the same way as on the iPhone, that is, in addition to text messages, you can also send photos, videos, stickers and even make calls. Starting group conversations is also a matter of course. The app is still free to download.
