Ondrej Holzman Sooner or later, everyone who wants to send Facebook messages from their iPhones will have to install the Messenger app. Indeed, the largest social network she decided, that he wants to have a chat separate from the main application, and now brings several interesting innovations to Messenger, with which he wants to make the user experience more pleasant...
Version 5.0 has a clear goal - to collect as many functions as possible on a single screen, so that the user does not have to constantly switch somewhere if he wants to send an attachment or just text. Newly, in the open conversation window, below the text field, there is a row with five icons, which give you easy access to different content that you can share.
The camera is now built right into Messenger. While the conversation remains open in the upper part of the screen, the camera appears in the lower part instead of the keyboard, and you can take a photo in a flash and send it immediately. Since the front camera is primarily active, Facebook encourages you to take the popular "selfies", but of course you can also take pictures with the rear camera.
Another icon will take you to the library of already taken pictures, where you just select the desired photos and press the button Send you send them now. What's new is the option to send videos in addition to photos, and you can also have them played directly in the application. The fourth icon brings up a menu of so-called stickers, which you can now access directly from the conversation. When someone sends you a sticker, you can hold your finger on it to go directly to that collection.
And finally, you can also send audio recordings very easily. You hold your finger on the big red button and record. As soon as you release your finger, the audio recording is sent immediately. So Facebook has made everything as simple and fast as possible in its Messenger, you practically don't have to go anywhere when conversing. At the same time, the search for contacts and groups has been improved, and you can now also find it right on the main page in the conversation overview.
