There are never enough external batteries. The endurance of mobile devices, especially smartphones, is not yet sufficient, so many rely on the added energy provided by external batteries. If you would like to combine elegance with high performance in this regard, take a look at Esperia's Epico Eloop E12 and E14.

Every external battery manufacturer tries to come up with something a little different to stand out in a crowded market. Epico with E12 and E14 flashlights certainly does not attack with price, but with quality. It offers really high performance in acceptable dimensions and comes with a very nice case for both batteries.

Eloop E12

Let's start with the smaller of the batteries in Epica's range – the Eloop 12 – which is smaller in both size and capacity. Even so, it offers more than a respectable 11 mAh, thanks to which you can charge the iPhone 000S up to six times, the iPhone 6S Plus up to four times. Eloop E6 can also handle iPads, Air 12 charges once, Mini 2 twice.

These are very decent numbers, which are also hidden in pleasant dimensions reminiscent of the iPhone 6S. The Eloop E12 is only twice as thick and weighs a pleasant 205 grams. In addition to performance, Epic also focused on making their battery look good.

The rounded edges and rubberized finish really look elegant and give the battery a premium feel. The battery is robust, it doesn't wobble or bend anywhere. In addition, everything is enhanced by the attached fabric cover, in which you can insert the cable in addition to the battery, pull it with a rubber band and you are ready to take the backup power source with you anywhere.

In addition to 12 mAh, the Eloop E11 itself offers two USB ports, one with an output of 000 A, the other 1 A, so you can charge your phone and tablet, and both at the same time. A microUSB port is available for recharging, and the charging cable is included in the package. When you discharge the Eloop E2,1, which you can tell by the fact that none of the four LEDs will light up blue, you will wait around 12 hours for a full charge.

You can buy the Eloop E12 in the store Esperia.cz normally for 1 crowns, but now more advantageously for 999 crowns. If you want to experience the feeling of luxury also with an external flashlight, Epica is the right one. From the packaging to the design of the flashlight itself to the bonus in the form of a fabric cover, everything is at a high level and we have not yet tested a more stylish one in the editorial office.

Eloop E14

If by chance the 11 capacity is not enough, you can reach for an even higher caliber. Esperia also offers the Epico Eloop E14 model, which has a whopping 20 mAh. This is already enough for eleven charges of the iPhone 000S, seven charges of the iPhone 6S Plus, almost four charges of the iPad mini 6, and the iPad Air 4 can also charge the Eloop E2 at least twice.

Due to the larger capacity, the Eloop 14 is comparable in size to the iPhone 6S Plus, but is slightly wider and thicker. Epica's designers tried to make the battery look as luxurious as possible. The all-metal square body is complemented by plastic sides, which hide two USB outputs of 1 and 2,1 amperes respectively, a microUSB input for recharging and four diodes indicating the charging status.

Even in the case of the Eloop E14, the package does not lack a cloth cover, this time with a leather patch, into which you insert the flashlight, click it and you can go on your way. Thanks to its thin profile, it fits in most backpacks or bags, but also in a larger pocket. So if you need a really significant amount of backup power, even for a week-long trip outside of civilization, the Epico Eloop E14 is a suitable choice.

recharge in about 12 hours, you can buy from Epic in the Esperia.cz store for 1 crowns. Again, for this price, you don't just get an ordinary plastic flashlight, you get a higher class feel. It is up to everyone whether they need such an experience with an external battery.

Finally, it is worth adding that at Esperia.cz you will get one more external battery for the Eloop E12 and E14 as a bonus, this time an "emergency" one.  the smaller and even more portable Capsule 2600 in a lot of 399 crowns.
