Eddy Cue, Apple's head of internet services, responded to the latest Steve Jobs documentary titled Steve JobsThe Man in the Machine. This documentary was first released as part of the South by Southwest film and music festival and focuses mainly on the dark side of Jobs' life.

The documentary depicts, for example, the moment when Jobs rejected the paternity of his daughter, the atmosphere full of stress that the former Apple boss maintained among his employees, and also touches on the numerous suicides of workers at Foxconn, the Chinese factory of Apple products.

Probably also due to the focus on these topics, Cu does not like the documentary very much. The man expressed his displeasure on Twitter as follows: “I'm very disappointed with SJ: Man in the Machine. It is an inaccurate and bad image of my friend. It's not a reflection of the Steve I knew.'

Moments after posting this tweet, Eddy Cue posted another post on Twitter, in which he instead highlights an upcoming book called Becoming Steve Jobs by Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli. It received a lot of praise even before its publication.

The influential blogger John Gruber, for example, commented on the book he described as "smart, accurate, informative, insightful and at times very moving" and that it will be a book that will be referred to for a long time to come. Eddy Cue agrees with Gruber in a positive assessment, according to the latest tweet.

Becoming Steve Jobs is released in the original on March 24 and can be pre-ordered at, for example Amazon or electronically in iBookstore. Before the official release, several excerpts from the book appeared on the Internet, where, for example, it is described how Steve Jobs refused a liver from Tim Cook, or how he was already preparing the company for his departure in 2004.
