In connection with the Apple company, many questions have appeared in recent years, which always revolve around one topic. Has Apple run out of ideas? Will another company come with a revolutionary product? Did Apple fall with Jobs? It is from Jobs that there is constant speculation about whether the spirit of innovation and progress did not leave with him. In recent years, it might seem that the company is overstepping the mark. That we haven't seen something truly revolutionary for a long time and that would change the way we look at the entire segment. However, this sentiment is not shared by Eddy Cue, as he testified in a recent interview.

Eddy Cue is the executive director of the services division and is thus in charge of everything related to Apple Music, the App Store, iCloud and others. A few days ago he gave an interview to the Indian website Livemint (original here), in which the thesis that Apple is no longer an innovative company was dropped.

"I definitely do not agree with this statement because I think that we are, on the contrary, a very innovative company."

When asked if he thinks that Apple has not been coming up with some more interesting and innovative products in recent years, he replied as follows:

"I certainly don't think so! First of all, it is necessary to realize that the iPhone itself is 10 years old. It is a product of the last decade. After it came the iPad, after the iPad came the Apple Watch. So I definitely don't think we haven't been innovative enough in recent years. However, look at how iOS has developed in recent years, or macOS. There is perhaps no need to talk about Macs as such. It is not possible to come up with completely new and revolutionary products every two, three months, or every six months or a year. There's a time for everything, and in these cases it just takes a while."

The rest of the conversation revolved around Apple and its operations in India, where the company has been trying to expand significantly in the last year. In the interview, Cue also mentions the differences in the leadership of the company, what it's like to work under Tim Cook compared to what it was like under Steve Jobs.
