Droplr on his yesterday blog announced that it is again possible to use it for free. Users can now upload unlimited files up to 2GB for free and also have access to all of Droplr's latest features, such as links available before a file is uploaded, screen recording with audio, "reaction GIFs", etc. However, files will only be retained for seven days , then they are automatically deleted. It's said to be "like Snapchat, but with files."

Paying users can access uploaded files forever and can also use several other features. Currently it is Droplr Pro available at prices of $4,16 per month (CZK 102) for the Lite version, which, compared to free, only offers unlimited file retention time, and $8,33 per month (CZK 205) for the Pro version, which also has no limit on the size of uploaded files and provides the ability to modify the appearance of download pages, to use your own domains, password and more complex (safer) links to share links.

An annual subscription to Drolpr Pro costs $99,99 (CZK 2). However, those who buy it before June 457 this year in the iOS application will receive a 5% discount, so the resulting price will be $40 (CZK 59,99). Additional discounts are available through the new referral program. For everyone who creates a Droplr account through his referral, that user will earn $1, which can be used to purchase any subscription.

In connection with this news, Droplr has changed the look of its logo, main website and iOS application. The latter on the main page will provide a scrolling list of large previews of all files that can be filtered according to various criteria. Each of them then has a context menu, offering options to manipulate and share it in all applications supporting Extensions in iOS 8.

In the same way, files can be uploaded to Droplr from anywhere through the Extension. Searching and uploading screenshots is then simpler. At the bottom of the app's main screen is a + button with a "Share Screenshot" option. When you tap on it, Droplr will display all the screenshots in the gallery of that iOS device in chronological order.

The application for OS X is also due to be updated in the near future, the older version of which can be downloaded in Mac App Store (this will of course be updated as soon as a new version is released).
