Most of you know that the iPhone ranks among Internet phones, so without the Internet it is like a "fish out of water". Therefore, few of those who own an iPhone do not have a prepaid data plan for it. Today, without the Internet, a person is essentially cut off from the world, unable to check current news, or the weather, e-mails, or many other things.

Fortunately, mobile operators offer internet tariffs for almost every flat rate, but the problem is that they usually offer us only a relatively small amount of data, and after exceeding it, there are either speed restrictions that slow down our data flow so much that it is not even worth going to the Internet, or high prices for every MB above the tariff, which is an even worse option, because the prices for this data are often in the tens or even hundreds of euros. This is of course very convenient for the operators and that's why they don't alert us to our current consumption, but luckily there is a simple solution for us as users.

I think most of you will agree with me that having up-to-date consumption under control and avoiding unnecessary problems is better than stressing about what the invoice will be, or getting upset about the fact that the internet is very slow again, etc. When I received an invoice the other day that almost "took my breath away", I said to myself that it must not happen again, and that's why I started looking for an application that would meet my requirements. In the end I found her, her name is Download Meter.

So today I will introduce you to this great and very useful application, thanks to which you will always have control over your data. This application allows you to check the overdrawn data separately for the mobile network and separately for the WiFi network, so you have control over the overdrawn data for both types of internet separately, which can often come in handy.

The control is relatively simple, so even if we will have to make do with only English in the application, I think that almost anyone can set it up. As for the settings, you only need to set two items: the day of the month when your new internet tariff starts and the amount of data you have prepaid.

The application has predefined notification alerts so that you always have an overview of the remaining data, but of course you can customize them according to your own needs, you can also set the display of overdrawn data in the application in the form of a notification number in the upper right corner of the application. And last but not least, I have to mention that the programmers are still working on the application and constantly improving it, which I consider a big plus.

If you do not have an unlimited internet tariff and want to have an overview of your data, this application is just for you. Download Meter is a paid application that costs only €1,59 in the app store.
