No, if you didn't join the queue in time, you won't be able to get the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max under the Christmas tree. But if you're okay with that, it might end up arriving earlier than originally declared. In the Czech Apple Online Store, Apple has eased the delivery times of its hot and sought-after new products.

It was up to 5 weeks ago if you recently wanted to order an iPhone 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max in the Czech Apple Online Store, regardless of size, memory capacity and color. It was also the only store where you had information about any delivery time at the first opportunity, because other e-shops stated and still state only To order - we will specify the date or Pre-order (coming soon) etc. If you configure the new iPhone 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max in the official Apple e-shop, it will "only" be lit for four weeks. Of course, it's still not a miracle either, but it now means that the phone could arrive with the New Year.

Closures are ending, assembly is starting

Foreign news reports that the worst is behind us. Unfortunately, it's a little late. Even last year, there was no glory with the iPhone 13 Pro, but right at the beginning of December, Apple managed to stabilize the situation, and even when ordering new products in December, you still managed to get it under the Christmas tree. This year the situation is different, even though we thought we had already won over COVID.

China's COVID Zero policy, i.e. the effort to completely eradicate the spread of the virus, has caused entire cities there to be strictly closed after only a small number of positive tests. Zhengzhou, the city that is the "home" of the largest iPhone assembly plant in the world, was also affected, and even more so because the virus also began to spread through the staff dormitories. They lacked medicine, food and money. Everything resulted in protests and another blow to the already limited production.

CNN however, it now states that the Zhengzhou lockdown has ended. This eases the tension and starts working again at full speed. This is already starting to be reflected in deliveries, but according to estimates, the situation will stabilize only in January. If you were wondering how much it cost Apple, it is said to be up to a billion dollars a week. And that's just because he couldn't sell iPhones, for which there is such a long waiting list.

What will be next?

It will certainly be interesting to see how Apple will approach the whole situation in the future and if it will continue to be so stupid and bet everything on one card. But he should reportedly try to move part of the production of the Pro models to India. There is no interest in the basic models simply because Apple has not brought any significant news with them.

It will also be interesting if we see a new color variant of iPhones again in the spring. The basic version, who knows what, probably won't bring better sales, but will it make sense to bring a new color to the Pro models as well? There are two options. One is that it won't make sense because customers will still be hungry for them. The second possibility is that customers will no longer be interested, because they will be fed up with the current situation and will rather wait for the iPhone 15 Pro, or on the contrary, they did not wait and got older models in the form of the iPhone 13 Pro.
