Going on vacation and would like your iPhone to last at least one full day? Or are you simply dissatisfied with the fact that your current phone does not last longer even during normal use? For some, it is not enough to buy even the iPhone 6 Plus, which is far better with the battery than other iPhones. However, everyone should be helped by Tomáš Baránek's detailed instructions, which he wrote ... Lifehacky.cz.
The topic of battery life is not only for iPhones, but also for other smart phones, a very popular, but definitely not a popular topic. While technology is advancing rapidly in performance and other areas, the battery continues to be the weakest part of phones. They often do not last even one whole day, which often complicates life.
iPhones are not a big exception against the competition, so it's not a bad idea to take a few minutes to go through all the (often quite hidden) iOS settings that can increase your device's battery life by up to several hours. Tomáš Baránek's very detailed instructions focus on four main areas of "investigation" and also provide instructions on how to deactivate individual functions in order to increase endurance.
- Turn off background app updates (be careful, apps turn it on themselves during installation) - up to 30% savings
- Turn off push wherever possible (we often confirm ourselves and then don't check) - up to 25% savings
- Turn off Location Services where they are not needed (you know the "hidden" System Services?) - approx. 5% savings
- Other small tips - 5-25% savings

All the advice in the article is already more or less familiar, at least to me. And whoever encountered problems with battery life in the first month after buying an iPhone, turned it all off a long time ago, or at least I did. ;-) But I'm a fan of these articles that get more or less successful solutions to battery problems among people. I would add turning off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and mobile internet and turning it on only when I really need it. With this and the above, I can usually last at least 1 full days or more with my iPhone 4S (iOS 7.1.2). :-)
If you turn off data and wifi, I'm surprised that you don't prefer to get an ordinary mobile phone. I can't imagine turning off the Internet without which the iPhone is dead. For example, I use Mail, iMessage, FaceTime, bank, news, messenger and other apps x times a day.
Exactly, if I turn off more things than BT and Wi-Fi when away from home I can go back to the Nokia 3310.
and what about at night? Even if you use it more :) ? that's probably what Alex meant, isn't it true...
Until recently I used iphone 5 only with wifi and never had a problem with it…. I use it mainly as a phone... And when on vacation, I don't need to deal with e-mails many times... I don't need facetime and visit the bank 30 times a day... so why wouldn't I turn off the internet to save battery (especially 3G with a poorer signal)... Maybe I'm not as addicted as I thought , even though my work is 75% computer-internet :)
I allow myself to disagree with push. He should wipe the battery, since the information comes from the server, it arrives immediately and the device does not have to ask itself at a certain time whether the emails have been received or not. I think this has already been resolved once, so things should be put in the right balance .
