Patrik Pajer Amplitude Studios' Endless Legend may not have written itself into the video game annals as boldly as it could have. When it was released in 2014, it was praised for its fresh approach to the 4X strategy game genre (explore, expand, exploit and exterminate). Even from the images, Endless Legend looks unconventional, because it chooses an original fantasy world as its setting, in which you will have to save your civilization from impending doom.

The world of Endless Legend was hit by an unspecified apocalyptic event in the past. New civilizations arose from the dust of the previous world, and you will have to take over the rule of one of them. However, each subsequent winter is longer and more severe than the previous one. In addition to making sure that your subjects prosper, you will also have to figure out how to stop the impending end of the world. Newly developed technologies, discovered magic, but also multi-member troops that can defend your borders or attack dangerous-looking rivals in an original combat system will help you to do this.
In the game, you can choose from eight different civilizations, each of which is completely unique. One lives in harmony with nature, while the other embraces the power of technology and builds armored battle monsters. At the same time, each passage through the game will not only be unique thanks to the choice of your faction, but also thanks to the procedurally generated world.
