If you are an experienced gamer, you must have come across a lot of real-time strategy games. Moving units or entire armies has become a very popular genre over the years, although its popularity has been declining considerably recently. However, the latest game from Serious Sim, Radio Commander, offers a new way to look at such games. In this, you will free yourself from the battlefields themselves and you will lead your charges from the safety of the command tent.

From the background, in Radio Commander, you will communicate with your soldiers using a radio. This means that you will never see them directly with your own eyes, and from this arise a number of problems. Radio communication is not 100% accurate, so you only know approximately the position of your charges. Sometimes, moreover, it can happen that the soldiers themselves cannot determine their position precisely. Apart from the problems, however, there are situations that you won't experience in other strategies. For example, such movement of units takes place by a realistically complicated method of entering the target coordinates using a set of characters and the speed at which they should move to the target.

At the same time, not knowing all the information creates tension in the game, which you will find difficult in other strategies. In the context of the Vietnam War, you can't get rid of serious political topics either. The developers from Serious Sim are not afraid to highlight the problems that accompany war in addition to the challenging, unpredictable gameplay.
