The introduction of iOS 17 is coming. Already on June 5th, we will officially learn all the news, which should include two new Apple applications. Initially, there was only speculation about a certain diary, but now it is assumed that its functions will include two applications. But both functions could be part of the system even without specialized titles.

The App Store offers a huge number of applications, among which you will logically find those for personal development. These include all the journaling and meditation apps that primarily try to help you chart what you've been doing historically, but also to help you feel better in body and mind. Initial reports said that Apple would add a Journal app to iOS 17 that would serve as your personal notebook. Now word is spreading that there will be one more that will track your mood. The joke here is that only existing Health could contain both options and functions.

More apps are more visible

But the strategy is quite simple. If Apple were expanding the functions of the Health app, these innovations would not be so noticeable, because they would simply be hidden in an already existing title. But when a new application is released, it has the potential to interest even those who have somehow ignored Health until now. In the system news list, it also looks better that more and more new titles are being added, rather than just improving the existing ones.

It is, of course, the opposite of the trend, but one that Apple can afford. If you're a developer, you'd rather make one comprehensive app packed with options and features that presents itself better as a whole. Apple, on the other hand, smashes everything. However, it also has its advantage, as you can expect a simpler interface that won't overwhelm you with options. In addition, you can use the services of only one title and easily delete the other. With similar third-party applications, you simply get everything and you have to learn it yourself.

What about meditation?

For quite a long time there was also speculation that Apple would release a meditation application, but it is now relatively quiet about it. At the same time, meditations are often present in applications of a similar type. However, according to the situation, it does not look like Apple should somehow integrate them into the mentioned two applications. We already have some white noise sounds in iOS, but access to them is not exactly ideal.

Of course, they could also be integrated into Zdraví in a simple way, but now it might make more sense for Apple to release them as its own separate application. With the advent of artificial intelligence, the application of white noise could be very beneficial, because it is possible to invent literally "dog pieces".
