Here Comes the Invisible Dog (1996)

On April 23, 1996, the operation of the first purely Czech internet newspaper called Nevividelný pes was launched. At first, its publisher was only the writer Ondřej Neff, over time a number of outsiders began to participate in the operation, including Neff's wife Michaela, who was in charge of the Animal column. Britské listy, which became completely independent in 1999, was one of the sections of Invisible Dog.

First YouTube video (2005)

On April 23, 2005, the first ever video appeared on YouTube. It was called "Me at the ZOO" and was uploaded to the website by the co-founder of the platform, Jawed Karim. It is a short and not very good 14-second footage of the elephant enclosure in the zoo, and it can still be found on YouTube today. The YouTube website was officially activated on February 2005, XNUMX, with a public beta version launched in May of the same year.
