Here Comes the Apple IIc (1984)

On April 23, 1984, Apple introduced its Apple IIc computer. The computer was introduced three months after the introduction of the first Macintosh, and was supposed to represent a more affordable version of the personal computer. The Apple IIc weighed 3,4 kilograms, and the letter "c" in the name was supposed to stand for the word "compact". The Apple IIc was equipped with a 1,023 MHz 65C02 processor, 128 kB of RAM and ran the ProDOS operating system. Production ended in August 1988.

The first public charging station for electric cars in the Czech Republic (2007)

On April 24, 2007, the first public charging station for electric cars was opened in Desná na Jabloneck. The station was located in the city center in the historical building of Riedl's villa, and it was a public charging station in "Mode 1" up to 16A, experimentally with the option of "Mode 2" up to 32A. The charging station was set up by the city of Desná in cooperation with the joint-stock company Desko and with the contribution of the Liberec region.

Streaming Music Is King (2018)

On April 24, 2018, the International Federation of the Music Industry (IFPI) announced that streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music have become the largest source of revenue for the music industry, surpassing revenue from physical music sales for the first time in history. The music industry recorded a total revenue of $2017 billion in 17,3, an increase of 8,1% compared to the previous year. Music industry leaders have said streaming services will bring music to more regions, and this expansion may play a significant role in the decline in illegal music piracy.
