When Apple launched its TV+ movie and series platform, it also promised that those users who buy new devices will be able to get a year's subscription completely free - just by signing up for the service. However, this promotion doesn't last forever, and today may be the last day for some of you to claim a free annual membership to the service.

As I indicated above, the promotion only applies to those who bought new devices, be it an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Mac or Apple TV after September 10th, 2019. Also, the three-month window to register to the video service didn't start until the day it launched, which was November 1/2019. This means that for people who bought a device within those less than three months, today is the last day they can activate the service for free.

For those who purchased new devices after November 1st, the cut-off time varies depending on when the device was purchased and activated. You can activate the service directly in the Apple TV application available on your iOS or macOS Catalina devices. Apple normally charges CZK 139 / €4,99 per month for the service itself.

As for the launch itself, the service is gradually being expanded with new series, and despite its short existence, it managed to win several awards. It also opened the door for Apple to announce new projects at film festivals. The award was recently won by Jennifer Aniston for the main role in The Morning Show, the show Little America about the lives of immigrants in America received exactly 100% in the first evaluations on Rotten Tomatoes.
