If you order an iPhone 13 Pro from the Apple Online Store, regardless of the size, storage capacity and color variant, you will have to wait a month for Apple to deliver it to you. It doesn't look rosy, and neither do other distributions. If you are interested in one of the models, there is really no reason to delay. Due to the current problems, the delivery time will be extended.

The Apple Online Store as of the October 4th order date shows delivery of the 13 Pro models between November 3rd and 10th. When you look at Alza, you will only see the message "On order - we will specify the date". Mobile standby will only allow you to pre-order the 13 Pro models. The situation in iStores, where the date within a week is indicated, is interesting. In any case, history repeats itself, as the Pro version simply suffers from the gradual extension of delivery times.

iPhone 13 Pro Max Unboxing:

A popular trend

If we look at last year's iPhone 12 Pro (Max) model, the news from around the world talked about the fact that it was the interest in higher models that outweighed those without that professional epithet behind the generation of the device. The situation stabilized only at the end of November. Those who ordered at the beginning of December were assured of delivery by Christmas. But the twelves were only introduced in October, all in the shadow of the ongoing coronavirus crisis. So it was quite understandable. Pre-sales started a month later than this year, i.e. on October 16, the sharp start of sales began on October 23. Logistics did not run at full speed, and production plants had limited operation during the year.

However, problems with distribution also affected the iPhone 11 Pro (Max), which were released to the world in a relatively calm time. Practically a few minutes after the launch of their pre-sales, the deadline for the versions with 64 and 256 GB of storage in midnight green and space gray has been extended by 14 days to three weeks, after the official launch of sharp sales. The same problems affected the iPhone XS series, and the predecessor in the form of the X model was even worse off

Of course, it brought a new bezel-less design, so it was no wonder that users were hungry for it. He was also expected to do so, but then it was even six long weeks. In particular, Apple began to meet demand only in mid-December in order to cover the Christmas season.

This year the situation is different

If Apple was previously perhaps just unprepared for demand, and if the coronavirus affected its distribution last year, this year the crisis hit full force. And even though it looks like the pandemic has been won, it really isn't. They may have managed to eliminate problems with logistics, but certainly not with production itself. There is still a shortage of chips, not only in the case of mobile phones, but also in other electronics.

This will buy Apple more problems. Namely, China regulates energy consumption plants there, which has an impact on production, because the factories are simply closed. But this is not aimed at Apple, this is for the sake of ecology, it just happened at the least convenient moment. And then there is Vietnam and restrictions supply of camera modules.

Although not on purpose, Apple is being thrown sticks under its feet from all sides. In addition, everything can become even more dramatic. If you don't want to wait a disproportionately long time for your iPhone 13 Pro (Max), don't delay too much in pre-ordering it. It doesn't matter if directly at Apple or an authorized distributor.
