The contact directory in the iPhone is made relatively simple and clear, and access to phone numbers or e-mails is usually fast. However, there are those who require even faster and even easier access. There is an application for them Dialvetica, which is in the spirit of the motto "simplicity is beauty".

First, the Mysterious Trousers development team launched a minimalistic calendar – Calvetica, which is very popular among iOS users, and a few days ago another similar piece appeared in the App Store - Dialvetica. Everything is again done in the increasingly popular minimalist style, and the application has only one task – to allow the user to dial a number, send a text message or write an email as quickly as possible. However, to avoid confusion, Dialvetica is not a contact manager, but just such an intermediary. The nifty app doesn't boast too many features, because that's not the point, as Mysterious Trousers points out.

And how is Dialvetica used? Upon launch, a list of contacts immediately pops up at you. If you tap on a name, you call that contact without delay. On the right, you can choose text message or email. Clicking again will immediately take you either directly to the prepared "message" or open a new email with the addressed addressee. Dialvetica allows you to choose in the settings how it will behave when you double-click on a contact - whether it should call, write or email.

Dialvetica isn't just a dumb dialer, it has a memory where it stores your most popular and frequent contacts, so over time it will prioritize those items when searching. If you have multiple entries for a contact, Dialvetica will ask you which number (or email) you want to use as the primary one. The sorting of the contacts in the list is not alphabetical, at the very top you will find the contacts you dialed last, which is also very compact.

When you start it for the first time, you will certainly be surprised by the keyboard that Dialvetica has. This is not a classic iOS keyboard. The application has its own, for faster control. There are only letters on it, and the developers state that each click on this keyboard is equal to five clicks on the basic one. As soon as you press a letter, Dialvetica immediately shows you all the contacts that contain it and continues until you find the right one. However, if the built-in keyboard does not suit you, you can always switch to the classic one.

In short and well, Dialvetica is for everyone who likes minimalism, speed, simplicity and especially likes calling, emailing and texting. For such a user, the few crowns are definitely worth investing.
